Can you show Transportstyrelsen's "Fordonets skulder" (vehicle debt) service, or otherwise confirm there is no outstanding vehicle tax, congestion charge, or parking-fine debt tied to this vehicle? Unpaid vehicle debt transfers to the new owner in Sweden, not the previous one, and can lead to Kronofogden seizing the car.
Please provide the vehicle VIN/chassis number so I can check manufacturer recall completion and run a full VIN check.
Do you have stamped service receipts covering the most recent oil change and brake-fluid replacement? If done, please supply invoices or workshop stamps.
Has the vehicle ever been repaired outside an insurance claim (private repairs or bodyshop work)? If yes, provide receipts and details.
Can you confirm that the instrument cluster/display, Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) and parking-assist features work normally? Any blanking, resets or error messages?
Will you provide a signed köpekontrakt and service book copies at sale?

Never pay a deposit or the full price before you've seen and test-driven the car in person — be wary of pressure to decide immediately ("today only" pricing), or a seller who avoids meeting or an independent inspection.
Pay by bank transfer or Swish, never cash to someone you haven't met or verified, and complete the registered ownership transfer (ägarbyte) digitally at handover rather than leaving it for later.
Bring the VIN and verify recall completion with Toyota (ask dealer to show login/printout if fixes applied).
Check for fresh oil-change and brake-fluid receipts; if none, have a mechanic inspect fluid condition and perform the services before purchase.
During test drive, verify instrument cluster/dashboard display and PVM/parking-assist functions (recall-related areas).
Visual inspection for panel gaps, paint overspray, or uneven surfaces indicating non-insurance repairs; check underside for recent welding/patches.
